A rush of emotions

I won't lie it was not easy to pull out a meter for my younger son Harrison to use, I thought it wouldn't be that bad..but it was!! I can't explain it, I figured I've gone through this already if another one of the kids got Diabetes I could handle it. I think I was fooling myself. I could "do it" of course. We know nothing for sure though, I thank God for that!! I couldn't handle this agian without Tim here.

So what happened with Harrison is he was displaying classic symptoms of high blood sugar, the thirst the frequent bathroom trips. What's weird is when I tested him I was prepared for him to be high, but he wasn't he was low, he was 52. This is low. I don't really know what to think about this. I have to test his sugar before he eats and a hour after for three days and then we'll go from there. I'm praying, I'm praying hard!!

I just found out the walk is in four days, thinking about trying to pull of some give away on here, we'll see.

I've been having a hard time lately with Olivia having Diabetes, how I long for her to be a "normal" kid, and us live a "normal" life. It's so hard not to ask why, and how. Like I've always said it could be worse, but then I can't help myself to think "but it could be better".

It is what it is.
